Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Anime Illustrator to create captivating character designs and stunning artwork for our anime projects. You will collaborate closely with writers, animators, and directors to bring vibrant characters and stories to life.
Responsibilities
- Character Design: Create original, visually appealing anime-style characters based on project briefs.
- Concept Art: Develop detailed sketches, turnarounds, and expressions for characters.
- Scene Illustration: Design dynamic and detailed illustrations for key scenes or promotional materials.
- Collaboration: Work with the creative team to align designs with the story’s tone and aesthetic.
- Revision: Refine artwork based on feedback from the team or clients.
- Consistency: Ensure that designs remain consistent with the project’s style and vision.
- Research: Stay updated on current anime trends and incorporate them into designs when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an anime illustrator or similar role (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate).
- Strong understanding of anime art styles, anatomy, and proportions.
- Ability to create expressive characters with unique personalities.
- Knowledge of color theory, shading, and composition.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with the team effectively.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in creating manga or comic-style panels.
- Familiarity with 2D animation pipelines.
- Understanding of Japanese culture and anime genres.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling or animation software is a plus.
